I’m Andrea Revel, born and raised on hard work, faith, and resilience. I grew up on a small farm where I learned to care for what you grow, finish what you start, and value every season of life. I’ve faced loss and hardship, including the death of my first husband, but those challenges strengthened my resolve to serve others. With 26 years in healthcare, I’ve held hands with people at their best and worst moments, from newborns to those facing their final days. That work taught me compassion, accountability, and how deeply policy decisions affect real lives.

I’ve always loved exploring downtown and uptown Minneapolis, biking our beautiful trails, and supporting local businesses. But now, too many storefronts are closed, too many people feel unsafe, and too much potential is being wasted. We can fix that, through smart investment, improved lighting, renewable energy, and safer, more connected neighborhoods.

I’m running for Mayor because I believe Minneapolis can once again be a city we’re proud of: safe, vibrant, and full of life. I want Minneapolis to be a fun destination again, with thriving arts, entertainment, and walkable streets. I want to help people off the streets and away from addiction by offering real rehabilitation — a place to sleep, shower, eat, and rebuild their lives with dignity.

Our Minneapolis can be both compassionate and strong through protecting our neighborhoods while driving growth and innovation. We can build a budget surplus through revenue and revitalization, not higher taxes and fees. And I will fight to ensure no political parties or lobbyists fund candidates, so our leadership truly reflects the people who live and work here.

Above all, I believe in listening, as no one leads a city alone. It takes the voices, ideas, and lived experiences of our community. I welcome your feedback, your concerns, and your vision for what Minneapolis can become. Together, we can create lasting change.
